2K Recording Studio exists because Charmaine Knoll got tired of watching talented artists leave studios frustrated. Too many sessions ended with rushed mixes, distracted engineers, and final products that did not match what the artist heard in their head.
So she built her own room. Acoustically treated from the ground up, equipped with gear that does the job without the markup, and run by one person who is there for every single session. No rotating engineers. No handoffs. No clock-watching.
The studio is set up for music recording, podcast production, mixing, mastering, and voice-over work. Whether you are a solo vocalist tracking your first single or a five-piece band finishing an EP, the process starts the same way: a conversation about what you are trying to make and how we can help you get there.
How We Work
Your session, your pace
No clock-watching, no rushing. The session is done when you are happy with what you hear.
One engineer, start to finish
Charmaine is behind the board for every session. No handoffs, no strangers.
Honest feedback, no ego
If something is not working, we will tell you. If it sounds great, we will tell you that too.
